Believe it or not.. Major League Baseball is ONLY a sport because there is physical activity involved..But calling it a competition..naaaah!! Other than that you can pretty much say that it's a 7 month movie that you already know the ending to..
Let me explain..
In movies the good guys ALWAYS wins.. In baseball the team with the highest payroll ALWAYS wins.. Sure their's lots of plot twists and cliffhangers.. But a little more than half-way through the film you pretty much can imagine whats bound to happen.. And pretty much in the 5th month you can tell who's making playoffs, with the exception of the NL and AL central..Ask yourself are you really suprised the Yankees made the World Series!! You know, the Yankees that went out and bought a Mark Texeira, A.J. Burnett and C.C. Sabathia for the same price as a low-end Major League Baseball team..Tell me your'e not..
So right now we are at the part of the movie where we find out Batman is gonna kill Joker.. Rudy is gonna play in the last game.. Optimus Prime is gonna whoop on MegaTron..And now the Yankees win the Title..Simply because their the Best Team Money Could Buy..
With that being said..I wish the Phillies all the luck in the world, in their hopes to take down the Evil Empire..
